About the Journal
Since 2014, the Journal of Mediation and Applied Conflict Analysis has provided an opportunity for conflict intervention researchers and practitioners to develop and write articles that bring theory to practice and create theory from practice through their experience and research. Knowledge and practice wisdom can in this way enrich the field of practice and contribute to the development of mediation and conflict intervention theory.
OPEN ACCESS AND COPYRIGHT: this is an open access journal, available to all free of charge. It uses an open access model of intellectual property. That means that the copyright of papers remain with the authors who provide the journal with a Creative Commons licence to publish the paper. By "open access" to this literature, we mean it is free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, and use them for any lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited. See here for Maynooth University's policy on Open Access to Research. See here for details of the Creative Commons licence.
